This past weekend, Kelly Gneiting officially became the heaviest person to finish a marathon ever.
The 400-pound, 6-foot tall, sumo wrestler set the Guinness world record for being the heaviest person to finish a marathon Sunday, completing the LA Marathon in 9:48:52. Gneiting is also a 3-time U.S. national champion sumo wrestler.
Here is a video documenting his first ever marathon in which he was actually heavier, but was not officially weighed by Guiness prior to the attempt.
